Mr. Bembry is responsible for the development of many innovative programs nationwide including Seattle’s Late Night Recreation Program duplicated in over 100 cities in the US and Canada, the development of the Teen Life Center in Seattle in addition to serving as founding Executive Director of City Year Seattle King County, , managing over 18 unique recreation facilities in Oakland California, leading the recreation response to public safety, healing centers, and Oakland’s innovative Radical Roving Recreation program. Mr. Bembry also developed a unique curricula and DVD products focused on Teen Dating Violence prevention titled Real Talk with the nationally acclaimed Carolyn Russell of, A Safe Place and Served on the planning committee for the Domestic Peace Project sponsored by IDVAAC, Institute for Domestic Violence in the African American Community.
