Hip Hop legend and icon Kurtis Blow participates in Town-hall Forum Discussions
Seattle Parks and Recreation’s Youth Violence Prevention Program and Bembry Consulting Services National Youth Congress hosted a Townhall Forum with legendary hip-hop pioneer and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Kurtis Blow, at Garfield Teen Life Center on Memorial Day, one of many community events sponsored by Bembry Consulting Services and partner GoodyBagg Entertainment over the weekend.
The event focused on addressing “The Facts, The Challenge and The Solution” to youth violence and sustainable communities. Facilitated discussions around race and social justice, youth violence prevention and hip hop culture along with video clips which provided background and topics for discussion.
